2014: Was inserted right away into the Eagles' lineup, and ended up fourth on the team with a .346 batting average and 25 RBI...Added 23 runs scored, five doubles, a triple and a home run...Had an eight-game hitting streak down the stretch, collecting 12 hits in that span...Earned first-team Daktronics All-Midwest Region honors.

At Mercyhurst Northeast CC: In 2013, hit .359 with six doubles, three triples, two home runs and 33 RBI in 44 games...Added 38 runs scored, 14 walks, eight stolen bases and only struck out 11 times...Played in nine games in 2012, going 5-for-22 with two doubles and five RBIs.

High School: Brooks hit .400 with a pair of homers, 35 RBI and 20 stolen bases his senior season at Springfield High School...He earned all-conference laurels in baseball, basketball and soccer...Brooks lettered three times in baseball, three times in basketball and twice in soccer.

Personal: Brooks is the son of Patty and Kevin Brooks. He is a political science/history major.
