Biography

2012: Vaughan missed the entire season - he received a medical redshirt.

2011: Vaughan was a starter throughout the season, finishing 5-3 with a 3.45 ERA. He was third on the team in innings pitched and fourth in strikeouts.

High School/Junior College: Vaughan transferred to AU from Owens Community College in northwest Ohio. He lettered four times in baseball at Pike-Delta-York High School and was named to the Northwest Ohio Athletic League first team three times. He was also selected to the All-Ohio honorable mention squad once. Vaughan is the career wins leader at Pike-Delta-York and also holds the school record for wins in a season. He also lettered four times in golf and twice in basketball at Pike-Delta-York High School.

Personal: The pitcher is the son of Bill and Jane Vaughan. Vaughan is majoring in information systems at AU.
