Biography

High School: McGrain was a three-year letterman in baseball at Olmsted Falls High School. He was a Division I All-Ohio performer as a catcher and was also named All-Plain Dealer and All-Elyria Chronicle. He was the Bulldogs’ team captain for two seasons under coach Dan Largent. McGrain also lettered four times as a wrestler, earning the Southwestern Conference’s Outstanding Wrestler Award. He was a state qualifier as a wrestler.


Personal: McGrain is the son of Bill and Tracey McGrain. His birthday is Oct. 22, 1991. McGrain’s father, Bill, is a 1980 graduate of Ashland University where he was the captain of the wrestling team. His brother, Zach, is a four-year letterwinner in baseball at Otterbein.
