High School: Young is Loudonville’s career leader in homers (13). She hit .562 with 34 RBI.  She was a three-time, first team all-conference pick.  Young was named the Ashland Times-Gazette player of the year.  She was a second team All-Ohio selection and a two-time second team all-district selection.  In 2011 Loudonville won a district championship.

Personal: Young is the daughter of Kenny Young and Aimee Young.
