High School/College: Lytle is a transfer from Division I Valparaiso who is originally from nearby Wooster, Ohio… he played three years at Valparaiso and played his high school career at Wooster High School… he earned three letters in soccer and one in wrestling at WHS… his soccer teams at Wooster won two Ohio Cardinal Conference championships… at Valparaiso, Lytle played in 48 games in his career, making 30 starts.

 Personal: J.P. is the son of John and Lydia… he was born Dec. 15, 1988… he has one brother, Wally, and two sisters, Janine and Sami… his sister, Janine, currently plays soccer at Valparaiso… his sister, Sami, played soccer at Akron and Walsh before transferring to Ashland for her senior season... his brother, Wally, competed in wrestling and soccer at the Division III level.

 Coach Freeman’s Comment: “J.P. is a steady left-footed player that can play in the back or midfield. He is an all-around good soccer player, who played primarily at left back at Valparaiso, but may find minutes in the midfield for the Eagles. He will be needed as a left back or holding center mid.”
