2009: Rankin was a key member in the Eagles’ midfield corps for the second consecutive year, playing in all 21 games (19 starts). He scored three goals and added one assist on the season. He scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Slippery Rock on Aug. 30 for his first career marker. He also scored in the Eagles’ 2-0 win in the first round of the GLIAC playoffs.

2008: Rankin acted as the central midfield ball distributor for the Eagles, finishing second on the team with nine assists – the fifth highest single-season total in AU history. His play earned him a spot on the GLIAC second team and he was also placed on the Daktronics All-Great Lakes region second team.

High School: He went to Ormskirk Grammar in high school. He plans on coaching after graduating and Rankin’s major is applied exercise science.
