2011: Luscheck played in all 18 games during his Junior year… the midfielder recording 17 starts on the year… Luscheck shot 16 times during the season, seven coming on goal… resulting in two goals for the Eagles… Luscheck logged 1,425 minutes for the year, tied for the most minutes played on the squad.
2010: Lusheck played in all 21 games for the Eagles, making 20 starts as either a midfielder or defender on the wing… he was tied for fourth on the team with nine total points, including three goals and three assists… Lusheck recorded his first career assist at Northern Kentucky on Sept. 19… against Mount Vernon on Sept. 28, he added his second assist on the season… he scored his first career goal against Saginaw Valley State on Oct. 3, which tied the game at 1-1… in the GLIAC semifinal game, Lusheck recorded a goal and an assist in a 5-1 win over Northwood... he also converted one of AU’s shootout penalty kicks in the GLIAC championship game against ODU.
2009: Lusheck provided depth off the bench for the Eagles in the midfield, playing in six games as a freshman.
High School: The midfielder hails from Cincinnati, where he played his prep career at St. Xavier… Lusheck earned three letters in soccer and was the team’s most valuable player and captain… during his career, he earned second team all-conference honors and first team all-conference honors… in 2008, his team won the district championship.
Personal: Danny is the son of Joe and Brenda Lusheck… he was born March 22, 1991 and has one sister.
Coach Freeman’s Comment: “Danny is pound-for-pound the toughest player on the team and definitely the feistiest. He is experienced in many areas and will look to play anywhere in the midfield or outside back. Danny is a tough defender and capable midfielder and is an excellent header of the ball.”
