2011-12: Meyer was redshirted.

High School/College: Meyer transferred to Ashland from Hiram where he started a majority of the games for the Terriers in his first two collegiate seasons… in his sophomore season at Hiram, Meyer averaged 7.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the field... he also led the team with 22 blocks and averaged 17.8 minutes per game… Meyer made 21 starts in 26 games in his freshman season… he averaged 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and shot 54.6 percent from the field… Meyer prepped at Kenston High School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and lettered three times each in basketball and football… he was first team All-Chagrin Valley Athletic Conference and was named the league’s offensive player of the year, averaging 27 points and 11 rebounds per game… the Bombers won the CVAC in his sophomore and junior seasons.

Personal: Meyer was born Jan. 2, 1989 and has two brothers and two sisters… he is the son of Mary Ruth Shumusay… his mother played two seasons of basketball at the University of Tampa... Meyer is an integrated social studies major with the ambition of becoming and teacher and coach.
