On Day 2 of the Akron Last Chance meet on Thursday (May 7), graduate
Brayden Jackson turned in an improved provisional mark, and sophomore
Jennifer Patrick a new provo, toward qualification for the 2026 NCAA Division II outdoor Championships, in Emporia, Kan., on May 21-23.

Jackson finished second in the men's pole vault at 5.35 meters/17-feet-6½, while Patrick was runner-up in the women's discus at 45.70 meters/149-feet-11.

Justin Patrick was second in the men's discus (47.60 meters/156-feet-2), while sophomore
Miranda Stone was third in the women's discus invite (45.81 meters/150-feet-3).
