Molly Winner has concluded her outdoor track and field season with another top conference honor, as, for the second year in a row, the Ashland University junior has been voted as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference women's field Athlete of the Year.
Â
As announced by the Great Midwest on Thursday (June 4) afternoon, Winner is a repeat honoree thanks to her season-long excellence in both the hammer throw and shot put.
Â
Prior to the 2026 NCAA Division II Championships in Emporia, Kan., Winner was the No. 2-ranked hammer thrower (64.05 meters/210-feet-2) and No. 4-ranked shot putter (15.77 meters/51-feet-9) in the nation. At nationals, she placed second in the hammer and seventh in the shot.
Â
Winner was runner-up in both events at the 2026 Great Midwest Championships.
Â
Also on Thursday, the league announced its all-conference first- and second-teamers, based on finishes at the conference championships:
