The final U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II Rating Indexes prior to the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships was released on Tuesday (May 19) morning, with Ashland University's women coming in at No. 18, and the Eagle men slotted at No. 25.

Tuesday's rating index takes into account only those student-athletes who have been selected to compete at the Championships in Emporia, Kan., on Thursday-Saturday (May 21-23).

Ashland's women have 118.08 team rating points, and the top point earners are:
- Junior Molly Winner in the hammer throw (No. 2 in the country, 64.05 meters/210-feet-1, 34.39 points)
- Winner in the shot put (No. 4 in the country, 15.77 meters/51-feet-8¾, 26.39 points)
- Senior Jade Avance in the 800-meter run (No. 7 in the country, 2:06.65, 19.32 points)
- Junior Leslie Pollock in the hammer throw (No. 8 in the country, 57.75 meters/189-feet-5, 16.39 points)
AU's men compiled 75.73 rating points in the final index, with the majority coming from:
- Freshman Jon Lutz in the 110 hurdles (No. 4 in the country, 13.66 seconds, 27.01 points)
- Graduate Brayden Jackson in the pole vault (No. 5 in the country, 5.35 meters/17-feet-6¾, 23.76 points)
