Ashland University's softball team split its two Florida games for the second consecutive day on Monday (March 9), beating Queens College 3-1 after losing 3-2 to Franklin Pierce.

The Eagles (5-7) picked up one run in the bottom of the fifth inning and two to break a 1-1 tie in the sixth vs. Queens.

Mady Hannahs (1-0) allowed two hits and a walk in 4 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to get the win. Senior second baseman
Danielle Robbins was 3-for-4, and junior shortstop
Sophia Martin went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases.

Delaney Lis (2-4) came in for two innings and yielded three runs (two earned) and two hits.
