The Fifth Jud Logan Light Giver Open came to close on Saturday (Feb. 7) at the Niss Athletic Center, and Ashland University's women's and men's indoor track and field teams continued to rack up provisional marks for the 2026 NCAA Division II Championships in Virginia Beach, Va., on March 13-14.

Miranda Stone's fourth-place finish in the women's shot put elite was good for a new provo (13.71 meters/44-feet-11¾), and junior
Odessa Smith improved her provo in the prelims of the women's 60 hurdles to 8.59 seconds.

- Chenevey in the women's 400 dash elite (56.74 seconds).
- Freshman Sydney Lattimer in the women's long jump (5.07 meters/16-feet-7¾).
- Freshman Tierra Johnson in the women's high jump (1.57 meters/5-feet-1¾).
- Freshman Jacob Holbrook in the men's 200 dash open (23.15 seconds).
- Freshman Ed Boehmer in the men's heptathlon (4,609 points).
- Senior Hope Sievert in the women's mile run (4:54.67).
- Smith in the women's 60 hurdles (8.63 seconds).
- Junior Jordan Rosales in the women's 400 dash (58.04 seconds).
THIRD PLACE
- Senior Levi Hondred in the men's long jump (6.75 meters/22-feet-1¾).
Multiple-time national champion and All-American
Trevor Bassitt returned to campus to finish first in the men's 400 dash elite in 45.84 seconds.
