On Saturday (Feb. 28) afternoon at Findlay, Ashland University's men's basketball team lost 80-61 to the Oilers to end the 2025-26 regular season.
The Eagles will go into the 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament with a record of 19-9 overall and 13-7 in the league. The Oilers are 17-11, 11-9.
Great Midwest tourney match-ups will be announced on Saturday night by the league, based on its point rating system.
Ashland was paced on Saturday by its two starting forwards. Senior
Maceo Williams finished with 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, and eight rebounds, while sophomore
Jason Moore ended with 14 points on 5-of-7 from the floor, and nine boards.
Junior wing
Cooper Davis rounded out three Eagles in double-digit scoring with 10 points.
