Men’s Golf Concludes Day 2 At D-II Midwest/Central Regional

The second day of the 2025 NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Regional was played on Friday (May 9) in St. Joseph, Mo., and Ashland University's men's golf team is in 19th place in the 20-team field through 36 holes.
 
Ashland's team score through two days is 306-299—605. Central Oklahoma paces the team leaderboard at 280-292—572, followed Saginaw Valley State (297-286—583) and both Arkansas Tech (292-292—584) and Findlay (298-286—584).
 
Freshman Charlie Fish has recorded two eagles and four birdies through the regional's first two days, and is tied for 29th individually at 70-77—147. Senior Matthew McMullen is tied for 54th at 78-72—150 (five birdies).
 
Ashland's starting five is rounded out by freshman Mark Pillar (tied for 82nd, 78-75—153, one birdie), junior Carter Mishler (tied for 92nd, 80-76—156, four birdies) and freshman Shaun Mazzalupi (tied for 98th, 82-76—158, five birdies).
