The second day of the 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference outdoor track and field Championship took place on Thursday (May 1), and Ashland University's No. 18-ranked women's team and No. 20 men's squad combined for three more conference titles at their home venue.

Molly Winner is a league champion, winning the women's shot put at 15.17 meters/49-feet-9¼ – an improved provisional toward the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, at Pueblo, Colo. on May 22-24.

Hailey Rios turned in a title effort in the women's long jump at 5.96 meters/19-feet-6¾ – a new provisional distance. And in the men's long jump, senior
Caden Morris was the conference champ in the men's long jump at 7.38 meters/24-feet-2½.

Wyatt Cory's second-place ending in the men's decathlon with 6,838 points is a new provo, sophomore
Kara Fields' runner-up finish in the women's heptathlon at 4,578 points also is a new provo, and senior
Kelsey Kinsley's sixth-place women's shot put mark of 13.95 meters/45-feet-9¼ is an improved provo.

Aniya Seward's 13.43 seconds in the women's 100-meter hurdles in a new provo, and senior
Mia Gardner's 55.68 seconds in the women's 400 dash is a new provo.

Through eight of 21 events, the Eagle women are in second place with 63.5 team points, trailing only Hillsdale (77.5); and the AU men are in third place with 53 team points (Findlay 80, Tiffin 60).
