Women’s Lacrosse Ends Colorado Trip With Loss To Mountain Lions

To conclude its two-game Spring Break trip to Colorado, Ashland University's women's lacrosse team lost 16-10 to Colorado at Colorado Springs on Wednesday (March 5) afternoon.
 
The Eagles are 2-2, and the Mountain Lions are 3-1.
 
Junior midfielder Ashley Fisher, the reigning Great Midwest Athletic Conference women's lacrosse offensive Athlete of the Week, collected a team-high five points on a goal and four assists. Junior attacker Carlie Wilson added four goals.

  • Shots on Wednesday were nearly even, with Colorado Springs have a slight 28-27 advantage.
  • The Eagles were a perfect 17-of-17 on clear attempts.
  • Junior goalkeeper Annie Duncan started and made two shots, and junior keeper Maria Mancuso came in and stopped four shots.
