Zuchowski Promoted To Volleyball Associate Head Coach

Ashland University head volleyball coach Katie Kuhn has announced that assistant coach Hannah Zuchowski has been promoted to be the program's associate head coach.

"Hannah has developed into a confident human being and coach," Kuhn said. "It has been a joy to be able to be a part of her coaching journey, and see the positive impact she has had on the young women she is coaching. She has continued to grow herself while serving those around her. Hannah has taken on more responsibility with each season, and has earned the title of associate head coach.

"I look forward to the future with Hannah, and the impact she continues to positively make on Ashland University volleyball."

Said Zuchowski, "I would like to thank Katie. I am honored to work with one of the best and look forward to continuing to work together. I would also like to thank our Director of Athletics, Al King, for the promotion. I take great pride in being a part of Ashland volleyball and Ashland athletics, and look forward to the future."

In their first two seasons together at Ashland, the volleyball team has gone 41-21 and won back-to-back Great Midwest Athletic Conference division championships. Prior to coming to Ashland, both Kuhn and Zuchowski were with the Ohio Northern volleyball program – Kuhn as head coach and Zuchowski as assistant coach.

The 2025 season will be Kuhn's and Zuchowski's sixth together as part of a collegiate volleyball program.

Zuchowski also has been an assistant coach for one year and graduate assistant coach for two years at Carthage College. She was a two-time American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) honorable mention All-American at Keystone College, finishing her career as the program's all-time leader in kills (1,537), digs (1,067) and service aces (211).
