Eagle Women, Men Open 2025 D-II Indoor Nationals

On Thursday (March 13) in Indianapolis, Ind., the No. 7-ranked Ashland University women and No. 8 Eagle men took part in Day 1 of the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships.
 
In the women's 5,000-meter run final on Thursday night, senior Lily Dowdell finished in 14^th place in 16:52.86. The prelims of the men's 400 dash saw senior Jacob Pielech place in 14^th in 47.78 seconds.
 
Yet another senior, Wyatt Cory, competed in the first four events of the men's heptathlon, and is in ninth place with 2,909 points.
