The No. 7-ranked Ashland University women's basketball team concluded the 2024-25 regular season at 27-3 overall and 19-1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference after a 72-51 win at Walsh on Saturday (March 1) afternoon.
Having already won the Great Midwest regular-season title for a fourth season in a row, the Eagles also will go into the 2025 Great Midwest Tournament on a 21-game winning streak.

The Cavaliers are 9-19, 4-16.
A BALANCED OFFENSIVE SHOWING…AND THE REST OF THE STORY
- Senior forward Zoe Miller finished the regular year with a double-double (18 points, 12 rebounds), and made 7-of-11 from the field.
- Five Eagles ended in double figure scoring – Miller, freshman point guard Ashley Mullet (13 points), and graduate guard Lydia Sweeney, senior forward Hayley Smith and sophomore guard Gia Casalinova all with 10 points.
- The Eagles shot 52.1 percent from the field and 78.9 percent from the free-throw line, while out-rebounding Walsh, 38-21. The Cavaliers were kept to 38.2 percent from the floor.
- Ashland has won six straight match-ups with the Cavaliers.
