Starting the 2025 season with a neutral-site game at Thomas More on Friday (Feb. 14) afternoon, Ashland University's women's lacrosse team defeated Quincy (1-1), 20-11.
The Eagles' goal total fell two short of the program record of 22 vs. Lewis in 2019.
After trailing 4-3 through the first quarter, Ashland outscored the Hawks 17-7 in the final three periods.
Junior midfielder
Ashley Fisher paced the AU attack with seven points (three goals, four assists), while junior attacker
Rachel Crumbacher picked up six points (five goals, one assist) and sophomore attacker
Ashley Drexler added five points (two goals, three assists).
The Eagles' offense featured eight different goal scorers, six players with an assist and 10 players with at least one point.

- Junior goalkeeper Annie Duncan made her Eagle debut on Friday, earning the victory with nine saves.
- Ashland out-shot Quincy by a 40-24 margin, and the Eagles forced 22 turnovers.
