The No. 16-ranked Ashland University women's basketball team will return home at 3-2 following a second straight win in Tennessee, 77-71, over No. 12 Union on Monday (Nov. 24) night.
Â
Home-standing Union is 4-3 after scoring 14 points less than its season average (85.3 ppg.) coming into the game.
Â
Ashland led 11-7 outside of the game's first media timeout, and sophomore guard

Â
Back-to-back 3-point field goals from graduate guard
Jenna Badali put Ashland back on top at 44-40 early in the third period, then baskets from junior forward
Katelyn Harabedian, freshman forward
Jenna Slates and Harabedian moved the Eagle advantage to 50-40.
Â
Ashland led by double digits for most of the third, but heading into the fourth, that lead was 56-49. Consecutive triples from sophomore point guard
Ashley Mullet lifted the Eagles to a game-best lead at 62-50. Mullet's third trey of the quarter gave AU a double-digit lead again at 67-57.
