Bailey, Kemp Earn Weekly Great Midwest Recognition

Two more Ashland University student-athletes have earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors, as senior 285-pounder Wyatt Bailey (wrestling) and junior Evan Kemp (men's swimming and diving) were announced as the latest Eagle honorees on Monday (Nov. 10) afternoon.

On Saturday (Nov. 8) night vs. No. RV Indianapolis at Ohio University, Bailey completed the No. 16 Eagles' comeback from 19-8 down to win the dual, 21-19 – thanks to an 11-6 victory over No. 5-ranked Cale Gray. Bailey is ranked No. 9 in NCAA Division II at 285 pounds.

Ashland will compete on Saturday (Nov. 15) at 9 a.m. at the Findlay Open.
