Playing its first road match of the young 2024 season on Wednesday (Sept. 11) night, Ashland University's volleyball team lost 3-1 (24-26, 25-18, 26-24, 25-20) at Gannon.

Kylee Urban, the reigning Great Midwest Athletic Conference East Division Athlete of the Week, ended the night with 41 assists, six kills, four digs and a service ace.

- Senior right-side hitter GraceAnn Hartman paced the AU offense with 14 kills, while a pair of freshman outside hitters – Samantha Young and Sara Krizsa – added a dozen kills each.
- Defensively, sophomore libero Abbey Queen recorded 26 digs, junior defensive specialist Macy McNamara added 16, and Young finished with 10.
- Wednesday's competitive match featured 25 tie scores and 13 lead changes.
