A trio of Ashland University men's athletes earned All-American honors on Saturday (May 25), on the third and final day of the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Emporia, Kan..

Ashland's first All-American of the meet was sophomore
Garrett Baker, who placed sixth in the men's pole vault with an outdoor PR of 5.20 meters/17-feet-0¾. Baker, who was seeded tied for 11
th coming in and cleared 5.20 meters in his second attempt, also was a 2024 D-II indoor All-American earlier this year.

Sophomore
Daylen Madison then became the Eagles' second outdoor All-American when he placed eighth after crossing the finish line in 1:54.48. This is Madison's second 2024 D-II All-American honor, having also earned one indoors.

Finally, senior
Brenden Jackson picked up his first D-II All-American citation, placing eighth in the men's 400 hurdles in 1:07.47.

Ashland's men finished with five team points, giving them a tied-for-38
th-place finish.
