Kaylyn Barnette improved upon her previous provisional mark in the women's hammer throw for the 2024 NCAA Division II Championships, May 23-25 in Emporia, Kan., on Friday (May 10) at Baldwin Wallace's Harrison Dillard Twilight.
Barnette won the event at BW with a top heave of 54.55 meters/179-feet-0.
Earlier in the week of last-chance meets, on Wednesday (May 8) at Hillsdale's 13-Event Last Chance meet, freshman
Justin Richards earned a new provo in the men's long jump at 7.31 meters/23-feet-11¾, and freshman
Alex Eggleston improved upon his previous provo in the men's 400 hurdles, finishing in 52.65 seconds.
