On Saturday (March 30) at the Tiffelberg Open, there were new and improved provisional marks aplenty toward the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, May 23-25 in Emporia, Kan..
- Junior Jesse Houle won the men's hammer throw with a vastly-improved provo of 64.58 meters/211-feet-10, and junior Brock Janowicz was fourth with a new provo of 57.06 meters/187-feet-2.
- Junior Sarah Masuoka won the women's pole vault with an improved provo of 3.80 meters/12-feet-5½.
- The women's 4x400-meter relay of freshman Cassidy Shimp, senior Alena Williams, junior Greta Barker, and freshman Hailey Rios won with a new provo of 46.33 seconds.
- Senior Brenden Jackson was first in the men's 400 hurdles with an improved provo of 51.46 seconds.
- The men's 4x400 relay of junior Jacob Pielech, Jackson, freshman Colton Thress and junior Noah Wood was first with a new provo of 3:13.62.
- Pielech was first in the men's 400 dash with a new provo of 47.27 seconds.
- Junior D.J. Duncan took second place in the men's 110 hurdles with a new provo of 14.42 seconds.
