The No. 1-ranked Ashland University women's basketball team won its NCAA Division II-record-extending 38
th consecutive road game on Saturday (Feb. 24) afternoon at Malone, 76-50.

Going into the final week of the 2023-24 regular season, the Eagles are 25-1 overall and 18-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference – having already won a third consecutive conference regular-season title.

Saturday's victory gives Ashland 17 in a row overall, and 47 consecutively in Great Midwest play, including tournaments. The Eagles have won 62 of their last 63 outings.

Ashland also has won at least 25 games in 11 different seasons – all since the 2011-12 campaign.

Annie Roshak scored 15 points on Saturday, to go with nine rebounds and three assists. She now has 2,276 career points – 20 away from passing
Laina Snyder (2,295) to become Ashland women's basketball's all-time leading scorer.

POST-GAME NUGGETS
- Joining Roshak in double-digit scoring for the Eagles were senior guard Savaya Brockington, who collected 14 points, five rebounds and four assists, and junior forward Hayley Smith, who had 10 points, six boards and two blocked shots.
- Defensively, Ashland kept the Pioneers to 35.6 percent from the field and 3-of-20 from 3-point range. AU also featured a decided 41-28 rebounding advantage.
- The Eagles are 132-4 all-time as the No. 1-ranked team in D-II, and 321-19 all-time as a D-II ranked team.
