East-Leading Volleyball Wins At Ursuline

Ashland University's volleyball team kept hold of first place in the East Division of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference following a 3-1 (25-20, 25-18, 21-25, 25-16) win at Ursuline on Friday (Nov. 8) night.
 
The Eagles improve to 17-9 overall and 10-3 in the league, while the Arrows are 2-24, 2-11.
 
Four Ashland attackers finished with double-digit kills on Friday night – freshman outside hitter Samantha Young (16), freshman outside hitter Sara Krizsa (14), senior right-side hitter GraceAnn Hartman (13) and sophomore middle hitter Ravin Morgan (10).
 
Sophomore setter Kylee Urban ended with 47 assists.

  • Sophomore libero Abbey Queen had 22 digs on Friday, giving her 527 on the season – sixth-most in program history.
  • Young recorded 15 digs for a double-double.
  • Ashland is 5-0 all-time vs. Ursuline.
