11 Eagles Earn CSC Academic All-District Soccer Recognition

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2024 men's and women's soccer Academic All-District lists on Tuesday (Nov. 19) afternoon, and 11 Eagles were included on those rolls.
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER

• Senior goalkeeper Maddie Dolenga – 3.87 cumulative grade-point average in Biology; 4-0-2 record, 0.42 goals-against average, .862 save percentage in 2024.
• Junior forward Dani Hicks – 3.96 cumulative GPA in Exercise Science; 14 goals and eight assists for 36 points, seven game-winning goals in 2024. Great Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
• Senior forward McKinley Mendenhall – 3.97 cumulative GPA in Exercise Science; 14 goals and 10 assists for 38 points, four game-winning goals in 2024.
• Senior midfielder Merrik Mihalek – 3.78 cumulative GPA in Business Management; Five goals and two assists for 12 points, two game-winning goals in 2024. Great Midwest Defensive Player of the Year.
• Sophomore midfielder Ella Schneider – 3.90 cumulative GPA in Marketing; Four goals and four assists for 12 points, one game-winning goal in 2024.
• Fifth-year goalkeeper Mackenzie Simon – 4.00 cumulative GPA/3.93 graduate cumulative GPA in the MBA program; 13-1-0 record, 0.19 GAA, .929 save percentage in 2024.

MEN'S SOCCER

• Senior midfielder Andre Dutra – 3.67 cumulative GPA in Business Administration; Two assists in 2024.
• Senior forward Rodri Fernandez – 3.79 cumulative GPA in Business Administration; Three goals for six points in 2024.
• Senior midfielder Oliver Lovell – 3.58 cumulative GPA in Analytics; Four goals and two assists for 10 points in 2024.
• Senior defender Teddy Togliatti – 3.94 cumulative GPA in Biology; 18 games (nine starts) in 2024.
• Fifth-year midfielder Oliver Whaley – 4.00 cumulative GPA/4.00 graduate cumulative GPA in the MBA program; Seven goals and two assists for 16 points in 2024.

The 2024 CSC Academic All-America soccer teams will be released on Dec. 10 (men) and Dec. 11 (women).
