On Saturday (Oct. 26) afternoon in Painesville, Ohio, the No. 3-ranked Ashland University women's soccer team defeated Lake Erie, 2-0, in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference road game.
With their 17
th consecutive victory over the Storm, the Eagles improve to 13-1-1 overall and 10-0-1 in the Great Midwest – staying alone atop the league table. Lake Erie is 2-12-1, 0-10-1.

Sydney McMillan scored for the second consecutive game. Her third tally of the season, assisted by fifth-year forward
Allison King (her first of 2024) put the Eagles ahead going into halftime.

th of her career – breaking a tie for ninth place on the program's all-time list.
