The win improved the Eagles' overall record to 13-7, while snapping the Cardinals' (14-8) seven-match winning streak.

Abbey Queen ended the night with 32 digs. She has three matches this season with at least 32 digs – which are three of the top nine single-match dig totals in program history.

- Sophomore setter Kylee Urban finished with 49 assists, four kills and nine digs, and four Eagles had double-digit kills – senior right-side hitter GraceAnn Hartman (17), freshman outside hitters Sara Krizsa (14) and Samantha Young (13), and sophomore middle hitter Ravin Morgan (11).
- Defensively, joining Queen with double-digit digs were junior defensive specialist Macy McNamara (15), Young (13), and freshman defensive specialist Kaylee Davis (10).
- Of AU's 23 blocks on the night, Morgan (six block assists), Young (five block assists) and freshman middle hitter Livi Miller (one block solo, four block assists) finished with the majority.
- Tuesday's match featured 33 tie scores and eight lead changes.
- Ashland is 3-1 in five-set matches this season.
