Ashland University's men's golf team played the first 36 holes of Findlay's Doc Spragg Invitational on Monday (Oct. 14), and sit in third place in the 19-team field.
The Eagles carded 284-290—574 in the first two rounds, giving them five rounds of 290 or less among the nine played so far this fall. Grand Valley State is first after Day 1 (278-281—559), and the host Oilers are second (288-279—567).
Junior
Carter Mishler had AU's low score on the day, ending at 70-70—140 and in a tie for fourth place individually. Mishler recorded five birdies in Round 1, then three in Round 2.
Freshman
Charlie Fish is tied for 19
th after 69-75—144. He had five birdies in each round on Monday.
