At the meet named after former Ashland University head track and field coach
Jud Logan, the Eagle men's and women's indoor track and field teams turned in several provisional marks for 2024 indoor nationals at Kent State's Jud Logan Memorial on Saturday (Jan. 13).

Four Eagles turned in nationals marks toward the 2024 NCAA Division II Championships, March 8-9 in Pittsburg, Kan., and won their respective events. Junior
Sarah Masuoka won the women's pole vault at 3.85 meters/12-feet-7½ for an improved provo, and new provos came from sophomore
Daylen Madison in the men's 800-meter run (1:52.07), senior
Alena Williams in the women's 60 dash (7.63 seconds), and sophomore
Jade Avance in the women's 400 dash (56.68 seconds).

T.J. Skinner was second in the men's 60 hurdles in 8.02, junior
Brock Janowicz was runner-up in the men's weight throw at 18.55 meters/60-feet-10, and junior
Kelsey Kinsley was third in the women's shot put at 14.22 meters/46-feet-8 – all for new provos.

Also earning new provos on Saturday, both in the men's long jump, were sophomore
Levi Honderd (fourth, 7.21 meters/23-feet-8) and junior
Caden Morris (fifth, 7.15 meters/23-feet-5½).
- Junior Konnor Ray won the men's 5,000 run at 17:23.98, and the men's 4x400 relay quarter of junior Jacob Pielech, junior Noah Wood, senior Brenden Jackson and junior Ethan Schuster won in 3:17.34.
- Second-place finishes came from junior Mia Gardner in the women's 400 dash (57.04 seconds), senior Emma Liberatore in the women's high jump (tied, 1.58 meters/5-feet-2¼), and Schuster in the men's 400 dash (48.95 seconds).
- Taking thirds were sophomore Nate Slater in the men's mile run (4:20.82), Kinsley in the women's weight throw (17.34 meters/56-feet-10), junior Jesse Houle in the men's weight throw (18.44 meters/60-feet-6), sophomore Braeden Geist in the men's 3,000 run (8:49.92), and the women's 4x400 relay team of senior Elizabeth Adams, junior Madison Stacey, junior Abby Below and freshman Jordan Rosales (4:00.16).
On Friday (Jan. 12) at the Findlay Invite, freshman
William Starnes won the men's 400 dash in 52.36 seconds, junior
Hannah Berheide was second in the women's 200 dash in 26.67 seconds, and junior
Jordan Hampton took third in the women's 60 hurdles in 9.54 seconds.
