Trailing 6-2, 8-4 and 9-5 during the 2023 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal at Walsh on Thursday (May 4), Ashland University's women's lacrosse team worked its way back to a 10-10 tie against Findlay, but the Eagles ultimately lost to the Oilers, 12-10.
Ashland's season ends at 9-9, and Findlay moves on at 9-9.
Freshman attacker
Rachel Crumbacher scored back-to-back goals in the fourth quarter to tie the game, but Findlay scored the last two tallies of the game to move on to the conference championship game.
NOTABLES
- Sophomore attacker Camryn English had a hat trick and an assist for four points, and Crumbacher also scored three goals.
- Senior goalkeeper Jillian Rekulak made 11 saves on Thursday.
