Taking third place in the men's high jump for AU was freshman
Jaycob Kolleda, who also finished with an improved provisional at 2.05 meters/6-feet-8¾.

QUOTABLES
- "It feels amazing. It's been a long time coming," Elsesser said following the high jump victory. "My first year winning a conference championship, and I got to do it outdoor and indoor. It's a phenomenal feeling."
- "I was looking to hit that last bar, 6-11, to make it set that I am in for nationals, but I'm sitting tied for 18th right now," said Elsesser. "I'm going to go to a last-chance meet and hopefully hit that mark."
