Ashland University's women's lacrosse team continued its recent string of success on Saturday (April 8) at Tiffin, winning its third in a row and fifth in the last six games, 12-4.
The Eagles move back over the .500 mark overall at 7-6, for the most single-season wins in program history, and to 3-1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Dragons, with a fourth consecutive loss, are 5-8, 1-3.
Fifth-year midfielder
Natalie Sonntag had a hat trick in Saturday's victory – moving her into a first-place tie on the program's career goals list with
Sofia Michael at 103. Sonntag also has 118 career points at Ashland, one away from tying Michael for the program record (119).

- Senior midfielder Madie Gash posted five points on Saturday (two goals, three assists), and fifth-year attacker Isabelle Pisani (goal, two assists), freshman attacker Rachel Crumbacher (two goals, one assist) and senior attacker Cassady Becker (two goals, one assist) all ended with three points.
- Senior goalkeeper Jillian Rekulak (7-6) made seven saves in the victory.
- Ashland out-shot Tiffin, 34-16, and forced 25 Dragons turnovers.
