The second and final day of the 13
th Ashland Alumni Open was contested on Saturday (April 29), and Eagle student-athletes came away with a pair of provisional marks for the 2023 NCAA Division II Championships, May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colo.

In the women's high jump, junior
Emma Liberatore won with a new provisional mark of 1.68 meters/5-feet-6ÂĽ. The women's shot put elite saw sophomore
Kelsey Kinsley take third place with an improved provo of 14.44 meters/47-feet-4½.

- Eagles winning events on Saturday were the women's 4x100-meter relay team of freshman Medgine Wojton, junior Alena Williams, sophomore Greta Barker and senior Morgan Dennis (46.79 seconds), sophomore D.J. Duncan in the men's 110 hurdles (14.50 seconds), sophomore Colton Pinkerton in the men's 5,000-meter run (15:08.10), junior Kaylin Martin in the women's long jump (5.44 meters/17-feet-10ÂĽ), sophomore Catherine Dial in the women's shot put (13.03 meters/42-feet-9), and sophomore Brock Janowicz in the men's discus throw (48.38 meters/158-feet-9).
- Second-place finishes were turned in by sophomore Noah Wood in the men's 400 dash (49.02 seconds), junior Elizabeth Adams in the women's 400 dash (58.44 seconds), senior Cameron Shifflet in the men's 400 hurdles (53.75 seconds), senior Macy Creamer in the women's 400 hurdles (1:04.02), Dennis in the women's 200 dash (24.86 seconds), junior Riley Thomas in the women's long jump (5.41 meters/17-feet-9), the men's 4x400 relay team of junior Brenden Jackson, and sophomores Dylan Phelps, Ethan Schuster and Noah Harshbarger (3:14.80), and the women's 4x400 relay of Adams, Creamer, freshman Montana Walker and junior McKenna Woodruff (3:56.81).
- Placing third were Jackson in the men's 400 hurdles (53.95 seconds), sophomore Mia Gardner in the women's 200 dash (24.96 seconds), and fifth-year Storm Elsesser in the men's high jump (1.96 meters/6-feet-5ÂĽ).
