The 2023 Ashland University outdoor track and field season began on Friday and Saturday (March 24-25) at the Don McGarey Invitational at Kennesaw State, and the Eagles came away with four provisional marks for NCAA Division II nationals, May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colo.
Sophomore
Kelsey Kinsley earned one provisional distance each day, finishing fourth on Friday in the women's hammer throw (52.71 meters/172-feet-11) and third on Saturday in the women's shot put (14.26 meters/46-feet-9½).
On Saturday, two of the Eagle women's relays turned in provisional times. The women's 4x400-meter relay of seniors

NOTABLES
- Junior T.J. Skinner (14.55 seconds) and sophomore D.J. Duncan (14.59 seconds) finished 1-2 in the men's 110 hurdles.
- Placing third on Saturday were Williams in the women's 100 dash (11.92 seconds), freshman Cy Starcher in the men's 100 dash (10.62 seconds), sophomore Colton Pinkerton in the men's 3,000 steeplechase (9:48.09), and the men's 4x100 relay of sophomore Colin Roberts, freshman Levi Honderd, freshman Derrick Amapps and Starcher (41.91 seconds).
- On Friday, senior Storm Elsesser was second in the men's high jump (2.03 meters/6-feet-8).
