QUOTABLES
- "Never settle is what we talk about. You never put your head down," Ashland head coach Lauren Simko about trailing 4-2 after an early 2-0 advantage. "They knew they had it in them, and they capitalized on their mistakes quick."
- "They move the ball pretty well. All seven of them who are on the field are a threat to goal," Simko said of her attack. "They share the ball, very selfless attack."
- "She was feeling confident going into this game," Simko said of Rekulak. "I think those first couple saves early on helped fuel her for the rest of this game. She wasn't going to lose this game."
- "We've been working really hard," Rekulak said. "We've grown in our play every year. Our team does really well with adversity. We're all really close. When we play together, it all comes together."
- "I'm just so happy to have made it here," Crumbacher said. "This is just the beginning. I think there is so much to come. We just knew we wanted it more, and it starts right there in the circle."
