Ashland University's volleyball team completed the regular season on Saturday (Nov. 11) afternoon with a 3-2 (23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 22-25, 15-13) win at Malone.

The Eagles, winners of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference's South Division for a third consecutive season, will take a 22-9 overall record and a 15-4 conference mark into a 2023 Great Midwest Tournament quarterfinal on Tuesday (Nov. 14) at 6 p.m. at the Sherrill Hudson Court at Kates Gymnasium against an opponent to be determined.

POST-GAME NUGGETS
- Senior libero Katie Thompson finished with a match-high 26 digs on Saturday, moving her into third place on the program's single-season list with 568. Thompson now has two of the top three dig seasons in Ashland volleyball annals (585 last season is second).
- Junior outside hitter Makenna Belcher paced the Eagles with 20 kills, while senior outside hitter Emily Davis added 11 kills and a .450 hitting percentage, and sophomore outside hitter Tristen Gierhart collected 10 kills.
- Both freshman setter Kylee Urban and junior setter Georgi Moody finished with 25 assists in the victory.
