Finishing the 2023 Midwest Region Crossover on Saturday (Oct. 14) in Hammond, Ind., Ashland University's volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 31-29) to Davenport.

The Eagles will return to Great Midwest Athletic Conference action at 16-6 overall and 9-1 in the league. The Panthers are 9-11.

- Senior libero Katie Thompson paced the AU defense with 17 digs, freshman setter Kylee Urban had 18 assists, and junior middle blocker Bailey Ruth added eight kills, a .533 hitting percentage and four digs.
- Saturday's match had 19 tie scores and 11 lead changes.
- Thompson was named to the All-Crossover team following the tournament.
