Skinner Shaves Time, Climbs D-II Ladder In Men’s 60 Hurdles

Junior T.J. Skinner is in his first year in the Ashland University track and field program, following his transfer from Mount Vernon Nazarene.

Skinner already was knocking on the door of his first 2023 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, March 10-11 in Virginia Beach, Va., prior to Friday's (Jan. 27) competition at the Penn State National Open. But thanks to his fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at 7.97 seconds – a drop of .19 seconds – Skinner has blown the door down and moved into the top 10 in D-II in the event.

WHAT HAPPENED
