Despite a second-set scare on Tuesday (Sept. 20) night at Cedarville, Ashland University's volleyball team extended its consecutive sets won streak to 18 following a 3-0 (25-15, 26-24, 25-15) victory against the Yellow Jackets.

The Eagles, winners of seven straight matches overall, move to 10-5 overall and 6-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The combined record of the teams which have given AU its losses so far this fall is 54-6.

Ashland's streak of consecutive 3-0 wins is its longest since 2018 (seven).

- The Eagles' .370 hitting percentage on Tuesday night is their second-best this season. Sophomore right-side hitter GraceAnn Hartman had 13 kills and a .545 hitting percentage, fifth-year outside hitter Erin Krupar added 13 kills, and sophomore outside hitter Makenna Belcher, the reigning Great Midwest South Division Offensive Player of the Week, had 11.
- Fifth-year senior Zoey Peck finished with 43 assists, while, defensively, junior libero Katie Thompson led the way with 14 digs, and Belcher added a dozen digs.
