Ending a two-game Florida trip in Winter Park on Saturday (Aug. 27) morning, Ashland University's women's soccer team lost a 2-0 decision to host Rollins.

The Eagles, receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll, are 0-2 on the young 2022 season. The Tars are 1-0-1.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Rollins scored a goal in each half – one in the 11th minute, one in the 73rd minute. Kayla Park scored the first, and assisted on the second.

THE WRAP-UP
- The Tars outshot the Eagles by a 13-5 count. Each team had one corner kick, and each team had nine fouls.
- Senior goalkeeper Bri Rogers played the first half and made four saves, and freshman keeper Sarah Watson played the second half and made one save.
