Through the first two matches of its Great Midwest Athletic Conference tenure, Ashland University's volleyball team can still say it hasn't lost a set.
Â
On Saturday (Sept. 18) afternoon at Kates Gymnasium, the Eagles improved to 3-7 overall and 2-0 in the Great Midwest following a 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-16) victory over Ursuline (1-9, 0-2). That came on the heels of a 3-0 home decision over Lake Erie on Friday (Sept. 17) night.
Â
This is the fourth time in four seasons under head coach
Kevin Foeman that AU has started a conference schedule at 2-0.
