The opening weekend of the 2021 spring season for Ashland University's women's soccer team ended with a 2-1 loss at Ferris State on Sunday (March 28).

Trailing 2-0 after a pair of Bulldogs (4-0 overall, 4-0 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) goals in the first half five minutes apart, the Eagles (1-1, 1-1) got on the board in the 66
th minute when junior forward/midfielder
Makenzie Kelly scored her second goal in as many games.
