On Saturday (Nov. 20) afternoon, Ashland University's volleyball team lost 3-1 (25-15, 25-21, 17-25, 25-22) at Hillsdale in the 2021 fall Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament championship match.

The Eagles are 18-13 after seeing their seven-match win streak snapped, while the No. 18-ranked Chargers are 27-4 and extend their win streak to seven matches.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Senior outside hitter Erin Krupar, the Great Midwest Player of the Year, turned in her usual strong showing with 19 kills, a .250 hitting percentage and 12 digs. Another senior outside hitter, Heidi Fausze, had 11 kills, and senior setter Zoey Peck collected 36 assists on offense and 14 digs on defense.
- Peck and Krupar were two of four Eagles with double-digit digs, along with sophomore libero Katie Thompson (24) and junior defensive specialist Stephanie Smith (13).
