Just hours after earning the No. 15 slot in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, Ashland University's women's soccer team scored a season-high six goals in a 6-1 win at Lake Erie on Tuesday (Nov. 2) night.

The Eagles go into the 2021 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament, of which they will host the Final Four on Nov. 11 and 13 at Ferguson Field, at 13-1-3 overall and 12-0-2 in the league. The Storm is 2-13-2, 1-11-2.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Ashland's six goals came from six different players. Senior forward Bri Fourman got the onslaught going with her second goal of the fall in the 15th minute, unassisted.
- The game stayed 1-0 into the second half, but in the 52nd minute, junior forward Bailey Clark potted her team-high sixth goal of the season on a feed from Fourman, for her fourth assist.
- In the 57th minute, senior midfielder Emily Mark continued her hot streak of late, collecting her fourth goal in three games and her fifth of the season. Freshman forward McKinley Mendenhall picked up her third assist.
- Freshman midfielder Sydney McMillan got in the act in the 71st minute, scoring her first collegiate goal. Freshman forward Julianna Williams' assist was her third of the season.
- Then, in the 80th minute, Williams scored her fourth goal on an assist from fellow freshman forward Macayla Harris, her first. Harris then scored in the 90th minute, her fourth tally of the fall, on Williams' second helper of the game and fourth of the season.
- Freshman goalkeeper Maddie Dolenga made two saves, and improved to 3-1-2 on the season.
- The Eagles out-shot the Storm, 14-3, and had all three of the game's corner kicks.
