Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

League-Leading Eagles, Oilers Play To Nil-Nil Tie

It was a game to be alone atop the Great Midwest Athletic Conference table, and the result on Saturday (Oct. 23) night was a 0-0 draw for the women's soccer teams from Ashland University and Findlay at Ferguson Field.

The Eagles are 10-1-3 overall and 9-0-2 in the conference, a single point behind the Oilers (10-1-3, 9-0-3). Both teams, as well as Cedarville (9-4-2, 9-2-1), have clinched spots in the Great Midwest Tournament.

Ashland saw its seven-game winning streak snapped thanks to the tie, but remains hot following a 1-1-1 start, going 9-0-2 over its last 11 outings.
